The top US diplomat recently warned that America was “falling behind” in the green economy, and must lead the renewable energy revolution if it is to have a chance at shaping the world’s climate future – and to win the “long-term strategic competition with China”.

The US and China have pledged to work together to combat climate change, despite rising tensions between the two powers.
